The core music of this two track maxi 12" project has been directly recorded on a 4 track cassette / tape machine (yamaha mt4x). this restrictive recording equipment (when using the sync track, which I did, you only have 3 tracks left for audio!) led to more improvisation and an "on the fly" sequencing method. I used the arturia keystep for this (which I also like a lot for sequencing midi chords).
Tape tracks have then been transfered to the computer in order to make few overdubs and cuts on the original take.
Mixing is made upon a special cooking method : plugins on few separate tracks, routed to 16 outs sent to the mixing desk (trident 8T), outboard effects (reverbs, stompbox and modular), then back to computer as a stereo mix.
Original tape tracks are available if interested in making a remix with the raw mix ! please feel free to ask and I will send you the four separate wav files !
